Let's not try to rationalize how it is 'normal' for a woman to sew in something that belongs to another woman. There's nothing wrong with enhancing your own beauty, but stealing others, is not only wrong but probably a mental illness. Maybe that's too harsh? But tough love is needed sometimes.

I meant no harm with that gif. I was just trying to lighten up the mood. Why are you ladies so hyper-sensitive? I didn't create a picture of machete wearing weave cutters, but that was a great image you just gave me. In all honesty, I do believe this is an important topic to discuss. Having a positive self-image within our community is important. Until little girls stop asking for relaxers, this is something we should continue to combat.

• Blacks are being shot for just being black
• Jails are full of black young males
• Our communities are poor
• A lot of single mothers and fatherless children
• We don't support each other, crabs in the barrel
• Our man and women are against each other
• We even kill each other

I can go on forever with more important topics. Now, you tell me...is weave really that important?

But all of those issues, as well weave, come from white supremacy. I think discussing weaves is a good idea, we need more black men to encourage black women to go natural and embrace it. But in the tone of @Kind Gentleman. Berating black women for wearing weaves and calling them all typa mess really does not help at all.
