Where'd that march lead to breh?:patrice:

To fully understand that answer a person like you would had to have lived in the period that they were marching in. Speaking to it today when all you've ever known is the life you currently have is pointless. You can't go from not having rights directly to racial domination breh, especially when the fundamental thing needed for said domination is still out of grasp..........You would think more of us would respect that, but too many sadly don't.

The Farrakhan angle is very interesting, he essentially admitted that he played a role in Malcolm's assassination. There are times that I feel Farrakhan has had dealings with the feds. I hope I'm wrong, but the fact that he's sitting in Chicago and isn't making national news in terms of dealing with the violence is disheartening because he was and maybe still is the most powerful Black voice in terms of Black issues.
:martin:Farrakhan been putting work in for decades..70s,80s,90s,00s to current day.. He never ignores the violence..

He called on obama to comeback to chicago after his presidency was over to help with the issues at hand

:ufdup:Don't put farrakhan in that category... He done some sideways shyt but farrakhan don't ignore black issues

I stand corrected, but that's why I made it a point to say national news. But thank you and respect for the correction. I never said he ignored Black issues, in fact I said he was and is one of the leading voices on Black issues. I will admit to being misinformed and ignorant about the work he was doing in Chicago. I wish the mainstream media would show this.

Led people to that burning building, u mean?:ld:His words

Are you burning? If you living a cushiony life, then at some point you have to acknowledge that the house might have been burning, but it was still burning in a world wide hell......and the shelter provided allowed us to put the fire out some dramatically.....:yeshrug:

Malcolm's "message" was a regurgitation of Elijah's message and his message failed to properly analyze capitalism. Some of you are too dumb for your own good and need to stay out the way. BTW MLK didn't regret "integration" he regretted pushing for it without reparations. Open a damn book.

Not to be Blasphemous but I compare X's life to Pac's they both lived a portion of their lives pushing others agendas , They both died by the hands of their own people for it.....and they both were sadly used as pawns. Always found that comparison interesting.
