I do not have a soft spot for criminals or abide criminal behavior but you do have a point and their motive is pretty transparent. Same thing with the squatting laws, its legitimizing illegal actions. Picking and choosing when its okay to disobey Federal, State, and/or local law.

I came to this country in 1996 with a visa. It expired in 2002, I was only 6 in 1996. My parents brought me into this country. I am currently 22, 23 in just a few days. I did 2 years of JROTC in HS. After I graduated I wanted to continue ROTC in college but was told no because of status in this country. I said ok maybe I can join the Army since they accept immigrants. They do, but only legal immigrants. My parents never renewed the visas. Since a little kid I wanted to serve in the armed forces after seeing pictures of my uncle in the NAVY. My dreams were shattered so I said fukk it, I had to resort to a college degree.

what did i say that is ignorant? if someone comes to this country undocumented then they have no social security number, how do you work with no social? If they are working under the table then they are not taxed.
Did i even bring up any specific race or nationality?? Why does it matter how many different groups do this?? You are painting people who are committing crimes and circumventing our whole system of order in this country as hard working people while saying other people are "real" criminals.

As for committing crimes.....did you read the entire list of proposals and guidelines they would have to fufill? Especially in terms of being required to learn english according to both Obama's plan and Congress' plan? One of the very main things people who are here complain about with immigrants?
So are we also to blame the "Dreamers" who came here when they were young and had no control over their parents breaking the rules at all? Have them just go back after working their whole life, trying to correct the bad mistakes their parents made?

There are more black immigrants than you know about. Alot of them in "illegal" status cause their visas expired. Here are just a few examples of productive members of society whose status just happens to be illegal.
One cousin who has a masters in divinity and is now in Med School.
One Uncle who graduated Pharmacy school last year
Another cousin with a Masters in IT and currently works as an IT professional and makes around 85K a year.
Another cousin working a warehouse job while pursuing his bachelors.
Now all these are real examples of law abiding, tax paying immigrants who just happened to over stay their visa. They are also black. Should we deport all of them or allow them to stay and repay the country for the opportunities provided to them.
