Because my point is that they are related. We are talking about forgiving the transgressions of prior criminals. Why is illegal immigration the only crime being considered for revaluation? Why not the hundreds of thousands of blacks incarcerated for nonviolent offenses? Oh yeah I forgot, Dems are too concerned with legalizing hundreds of thousands of Mexicans to ensure they stay in power. It's so disgusting...

this whole "everybody is locked up for a joint" thing is horseshyt
lots of wierdos in prison say they got locked up for smoking crack but don't bring up the fact they are STILL IN THERE bc they are serving consecutive sentences for the dude he killed, resisting arrest, and the chick he raped.

America is one of the most violent places on this earth and they have like 300 plus million people with only 2 million in jail, in one of the most violent gun infested twisted places on earth. What the hell are you talking about. How many drug offenders are locked up for that nonsense you just typed? Last year, arrests for marijuana made up more than the arrests for all other drug offenses combined.

I think that the issue of amnesty and drug charges are not related. I see your initial point but I actually don't think piggybacking a primarily Latino issue is the best point of attack. Like it or not but non-blacks don't see those drug charges in the same light we do, Latinos have done a good job reversing the connotation of people crossing the border in a short time, in other words they managed to control their own narrative. I think we need to do the same thing, we gotta frame these convicts as regular people who have made some bad choices (wage earners, family men etc) furthermore we really need to get these former offenders get their records cleaned up and not strip their ability to perform civic duties. Either way I would like to use this as a cornerstone of the Black Agenda.

But thiis whole "take my anger out on "illegals" " that you guys keep doing is getting disgusting. So basically the logic is "Hold these people back from fufilling their dreams after all their hard work and sacrifice for their families........and instead focus on the brothers and sisters". By the way this isn't blanket amnesty.

If and When marijuana is decriminilized or legalized, Which everyone pretty much by now agrees on the same page that it should be legalized.....
But when it is legalized, I GUARANTEE YOU there will be people out there still talking about "TOo many brothers are getting locked up for crack/coke charges and we need to ramp up heroin and meth to make it more balanced"
