I Got Game
LOL @ the other teams needing something to celebrate. I root for the Lakers, who have celebrated 10 championships in my lifetime. You're an expansion team from a humid town of 500K who retired the number of a player that didn't even play for the team.
Now that that's out of the way: Your opinion on Dwight being an incremental upgrade isn't even really relevant, so I'm not going to argue that with you. LOL @ "some say he's better, but not me." Who the fukk are you? You ask anyone who gets paid to know these things and he's far more than an incremental upgrade. If that were the case, the Lakers wouldn't be bothering to pursue him. If you know anything about this team's history in deals like this, all this hoopla isn't really made about lateral moves. So keep downplaying, breh.
And of course I'm excited about Nash, hence me calling him the best PG we've had since Magic, you dumbass. And the Lakers have won 5 titles w/o a PG not because "that's the way Kobe likes it," its because the tri never needed a top tier PG. The resources were always spent elsewhere. Not to mention, if it were up to Kobe, we'd have traded Bynum for Jason Kidd a few years back. So what was that again about Kobe liking not having a PG? Get your facts straight.
The bench needs work, but the offseason isn't over. Season is 3 fukking months away. Miami is the king of the mountain right now but I just think it's hilarious how you're using "my team beat the team you didn't beat" as an argument when major variables have changed. But of course, the crux of your argument is that Dwight = Bynum. I already dealt with that, so I guess there's not much else to say.
If this deal goes down, the Lakers will be playing the Heat in the Finals. While the Heat will be given the benefit of the doubt as they should as reigning champs, the Lakers will take them down and we'll bet some coli cash on it when the time comes.
