I'm speaking logically, breh. And honestly.

Notice you have no comeback for my basketball talk. It makes too much sense to you and crushes this little high you're on right now. All you can do is post smileys. But guess what... only the champs can post smileys.

:russ: Let's be reality for a second.

You realize Andrew Bynum is right up there with Dwight Howard right? Some say he's better. Not me, but the simple fact that's debatable means something. It's not much of an upgrade.

Were the Lakers a threat last year? No. Not at all. They lost in 5 in the 2nd round to a team MIA beat in 5. That's A LOT of ground to cover.

Their only real upgrade is Nash. That's who you should be excited about. But even Nash, IDK. Kobe and LAL have won 5 titles with no true PG because that's the way Kobe likes it. It'll be interesting to see how that goes.

The bench is a joke too.

I'm not worried about LAL at all. I hope they do win the West because I wanna see the Bron/Kobe Finals but there is no guarantee LAL will be there. They got whupped by the Thundercats and all they did was upgrade the PG spot, which there is a chance that can actually be detrimental, and they swapped one of the best 2 centers in the game for the other top 2 center in the game.

If that gets you excited, then by all means... party it up. I guess the other 29 teams need something to celebrate. :manny:
LOL @ the other teams needing something to celebrate. I root for the Lakers, who have celebrated 10 championships in my lifetime. You're an expansion team from a humid town of 500K who retired the number of a player that didn't even play for the team.

Now that that's out of the way: Your opinion on Dwight being an incremental upgrade isn't even really relevant, so I'm not going to argue that with you. LOL @ "some say he's better, but not me." Who the fukk are you? You ask anyone who gets paid to know these things and he's far more than an incremental upgrade. If that were the case, the Lakers wouldn't be bothering to pursue him. If you know anything about this team's history in deals like this, all this hoopla isn't really made about lateral moves. So keep downplaying, breh.

And of course I'm excited about Nash, hence me calling him the best PG we've had since Magic, you dumbass. And the Lakers have won 5 titles w/o a PG not because "that's the way Kobe likes it," its because the tri never needed a top tier PG. The resources were always spent elsewhere. Not to mention, if it were up to Kobe, we'd have traded Bynum for Jason Kidd a few years back. So what was that again about Kobe liking not having a PG? Get your facts straight.

The bench needs work, but the offseason isn't over. Season is 3 fukking months away. Miami is the king of the mountain right now but I just think it's hilarious how you're using "my team beat the team you didn't beat" as an argument when major variables have changed. But of course, the crux of your argument is that Dwight = Bynum. I already dealt with that, so I guess there's not much else to say.

:deadhorse:

If this deal goes down, the Lakers will be playing the Heat in the Finals. While the Heat will be given the benefit of the doubt as they should as reigning champs, the Lakers will take them down and we'll bet some coli cash on it when the time comes.

No joke, but if the Lakers get Dwight, honestly, they can win 70 games or more if they wanted to. We got 4 HOF's (Bean, Nash, D12, and Pau) and defensive specialist and a dude that would be in MY HOF Artest, and Jamison off the bench and potentially getting one more young talent off the bench as well, LAkers can win 72 games if they are all healthy. All 4 of those HOF's can go off for 30+ points, even though Nash is old, he can still get them buckets with ease, and with Bean still demanding double teams from the opposing team. Once D12 comes though, Lakeset would win at least 3 rings in a row. LWO Lakeset bout to run shyt and there ain't shyt anyone can do about it!! :dj2::dj2::dj2:
