But one simple proof has to do with the coriolis effect
Which, according to heliocentric theory, states that once an object is no longer on the earths surface, its not moving at the same rate as the earth
This means that an eastward moving plane would have to fly at 1000 mph IN ADDITION to its cruise speed to actually move anywhere, because if its flying at less than the 1000mph that the earth is rotating at, its destination will constantly be rotating aeay from it
This also means that MOST westward flights would be MUCH faster than eastward flights
But if course, we dont observe this at all, and we even tracked multiple flights going east/west and west/east in that previous thread and they proved my point

Nah bruh, momentum is still conserved when an object leaves the ground.
It's the reason you can jump and land in the same spot you jumped from. If your model were true then everyone would die whenever they jumped because they would probably hit a wall at 1000 mph
