it's damn near a no win game. If you gave black people land, you'd have to give them a workable, sustainable resource or it's worthless.
If you gave black people a workable resource, white people and the government would just come in and fukk up either the resource or the people.
If you just gave black people money, the government would almost feel they have carte blanche to fukk up our lives, because they paid us back for all the horrible shyt they did before.
The best case for what American reparations look like is to look at Native americans, reservations and casinos. Mississippi has it's share of those, too. shyt is horrible.
The tax cut thing is a safe bet, but those jackasses would just raise the prices of shyt based on demographics.

Reparations will NEVER HAPPEN. I’d put my focus on achievable goals. I live in Kansas white people would cut off their noses (e.g. broke white people in need) to spite broke black people in need. And even broke white people in need would vote against it because they all think they’re temporarily deposed millionaires.

Coming from the construction industry, I always envisioned free trade/business school education, and low to no interest small business and home loans along with finding ways to recruit more black teachers and inner city school funding. Inner cities aren't really the primarily black dominated areas that they once were though. Mental health services have also been a part of my vision. Something needs to be done to address the trauma from all the centuries of colonial/imperialism that's been inflicted upon black communities. I don't think cash handouts are the way to approach it, as that's more of a flash in the pan answer to a problem that needs a real solution.
