nikkka please :laff: yah keep thinking that both pac and flyd are bigger than boxing

hopkins
mosley
de la hoya (the same guy who made put pac and floyd on the big stage)
morales
barrera
marquez brothers
cotto
roy
corrales
castillo
winky
calz
calderon

and a whole bunch of other nikkkas carried this sport

manny and floyd are both first ballot hof, regardless of what mannix thinks or if they never step in the ring with one another.

Let's be serious for a second,Winky,Calslappy,Barrera,Klitschko Bros,Morales,J.L Castillo and Marquez were good fighters but they were not elevating boxing anywhere.Boxing heads might love them but the casual fan doesn't give two fukks about any of those dudes.Manny and Pac took boxing off life support and threw it back in the mainstream.

fuk the casuals and fuk the mainstream, its the hardcore fans that keep this shyt alive. the casuals come and go, they dont do shyt but watch 24/7 and contribute to the ppvs buys.

boxing aint local (just an american thing), this shyt is worldwide.

theres a reason why klitshkos are fighting overseas and not here in the states. people here in the states dont give a shyt about him let alone any heavyweight but over in europe he fighting in 30K plus SOCCER STADIUMS and SELLING OUT what other fighter is doing that. like him or not he definitely helps with the sport staying alive in the overseas.

breh, at the end of the day boxing is BIGGER than manny and floyd.

That's a gatdayum lie.

The casual fan/consumer is what carries most big products in the world.

Boxing is no different. Die Hard money is small compared to the casual consumer which drawfs the die hard fan.

You mad....

Bruh I know boxing is bigger than Manny and Floyd but without the casual/mainstream fan interest boxing is soccer status.Casual fans = $$$ for the industry.Every sports organization fights to have casual fans pay attention to it's sport,Boxing isn't an exception.Soccer is the biggest sport in the world, that doesn't change the fact that the sport is damn near non-existent here in America.Just because boxing & soccer is poppin' off in Germany doesn't mean shyt in America.

They're both giong into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot if they both retire tomorrow. They don't have to fight each other.

If they don't fight each other though it's going to be a sad mark on both their careers' though.

But saying Floyd and Manny have been carrying the whole sport for this whole time period is ridiculous. Floyd keeps pushing this narrative that he's bigger than boxing and when he retires the sport will die, but that sport will be fine and somebody else will just take that top spot mainstream-wise.

Ok Mannix is on that Micheal Irvin.Manny deserves to a no doubter based on his resume and the fact that he and Floyd basically carried boxing for damn near 10 years.Floyd resume isn't as strong as Manny's but he is a no doubter also.

nikka 4 or 5 years ago nobody even knew who Manny was so how the fukk did he carry the sport for 10 years

fukk outta here with that revisionist history bullshyt

nobody gave 2 shyts about Pac until cacs starting convincing the floyd haters he had the best shot at giving May a L

both are easily HOFers. but i don't think they should get any kind of top 10 top 5 type discussion. Floyd is an incredible fighter, but im not impressed by his resume. Marciano was 49-0, which is my argument for the undefeated part. still an amazing boxer, Floyd, is. Pacquiao i do like his resume, but not fighting Floyd (who i think would win) just hurts the legacy to me. can you imagine if we never got to see Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran fight each other?

Five years ago, nobody on a mainstream level gave a fukk about Mayweather either though... so I guess the credit is going to Oscar?

None of these cats are bigger than boxing. Tyson was as big as anybody, Holyfield was as big as anybody, Oscar was as big as anybody, these guys are non factors and the sport is (relatively) fine.

Manny wasnt a hall of famee until he started piggybackin off floyds name
I have to disagree with that

the Marquez fights made dude a HOFer, even if the decisions were controversial.

Floyd wasnt nearly as big as he now before the DLH fight. Im hardcore and i can honestly say that.

You nikkas got it confused thinking Floyd been hated by white folks his entire career.
