What "experience" is it based on? That's my point. You can't speak on it.....there is no perspective on that relationship because there isn't a contingent of Ricans living in the south other than moving to Miami now. And the first thing we've seen from their impact was helping to make Dade County an Obama bloc.

That was easy. I don't see how anyone from the south can speak on the Puerto Rican/Black perspective never living amongst a large body of them. It's like me being in NY all my life and speaking about the black/Mexican dynamic knowing I never lived amongst a large body of Mexicans. My fam being from Africa, the most welcoming people I met in this country are African Americans and Ricans....that's me speaking personally since I have babies with em.
