in a perfect world it would be beyond opinion
straight up either land more shots&win more rounds or get the finish
make it clear don't let human error creep in and fukk it up

i know they ain't finna go against tradition for a bag of reasons but still it would be nice

Lmao, thats not how boxing is scored

you're allowed to go to the ropes

Canelo easily won the first five rounds

mexicans hate canelo because he's the best mexican boxer and he looks like a cac lmao
so they want GGG to win

shyt was an easy fight to School, Tripple G had zero offense for five rounds, Canelo didn't even go to the ropes a lot in the first five rounds lmao he was picking him apart

You can't lose 5 rounds straight and think you won anything impossible

I guarantee when the NSAC reviews the fight they will side with Byrd

It's one sided to me, I would give Tripple G 4 rounds at the most and thats being generous

also you're allowed to go to the ropes in boxing, you can use whatever part of the ring you weren't you don't lose points for being on the ropes lmao

Things like this makes your opinion irrelevant, you can't be expected to have your opinion taken serious with Stan language

I said it before the fight. If Canelo has stamina issues after 51 fights, he won't miraculously change by his 52nd. And you nikkas in here thinking it'll all be better by his 53rd.

He is who he is. Canelo has no stamina.

And because of that, he'll lose every time to the most relentless pressure fighter in the game today, just like he lost Saturday night. No amount of "if Canelo changes this..." matters. None of it. No matter what he does, Canelo is going to gas and GGG is going to be beating on him the entire time.
Exactly..in the OG thread I found one of my posts from 2012 talmbout Canelo's stamina...screenshot it...in 2017..its still a problem...canelo is not some novice fighter...he is not a tony harrison..he is a vet who started fighting at 15.. he has 12 years in this pro game and 50 something fights. This is not a problem he should be having..period....As he nears 30 do you think his stamina will get better as he ages? Or you think he has a large window to correct that?

Good for them. Not many safe options for GGG out there anymore and that's a legacy/money fight. They need this rematch and GGG needs to start fighting early. He also needs to improve his offense tremendously.
This is one of the cases that whoever won or draw it felt like a rematch was needed. Both fighters have a lot to improve on and I think a rematch will be more definitive as well as being highly entertaining.

I also think it is imperative for GGG and his camp to push for a rematch and make it happen. They can goad Canelo through the media and take their shots at thinking they won...at the end of the day if they don't stalk Canelo and force a rematch we should be disappointed.

That said, both sides know what they are doing. A rematch is the money both sides cant pass up and I expect we will see it in May. Also won't be surprised if GGG doesn't take an interim fight. He didn't take a fight after Jacobs to be ready for Canelo and his family just had their second child last week. I am betting both guys sit out until May and use the time I between to build hype for the rematch.

I need to buy me a GGG shirt :wow:
Watch the ones on Jordan. They sell out quick though. Right now Nike doesn't have stock...but they have been replenishing it every couple days.

Nike says the current GGG gear is the best selling boxing merch they have ever had. :wow:

Edit:
They say sold out, but they have some sizes available. https://m.nike.com/us/en_us/pw/jordan-gennady-golovkin/wtbZofq

My sweatshirt will be coming this week. :blessed: My girl asked me to get her a GGG shirt. Have to keep my eyes out. :myman:

Did you see Canelo's face in the same press conference? Your bias is so clear :francis:

"he aint never felt power like ggg"

"he gets stopped inside 8"

"it will look like the lemieux fight"

:mjlol:

we giving moral points for taking punishment and walking forward, most mexicans should be undefeated then. he had a good stretch in the middle rounds but he didnt win the fight decicevly. i scored it 7-5 canelo, could see a draw, wouldnt be mad at ggg 7-5, but people calling this shyt a robbery on that lederman sherm. canelo would tag him clean and lampey would be quiet, roy was the only one calling it neutral.

I don't think this is this simple
It's physically possible to correct that mistake

and you make it out like GGG would have had a field day or something like that... nah it was closely contested, whoever you think won it...
