I re-watched this yesterday and man...Idk. I still got Jacobs getting that one in a close one. I'd like to see a rematch.
I just watched it..it was close and maybe the knockdown swayed the points total. GGG won the last round but definitely lost 10 and 11th. He got hit some some good power shots and combinations. It should of been a draw if not for the point for knockdown.

Like I said before, there are no excuses for GGG losing

'We fight anyone from 154 to 168... except Canelo we cant go to 155 he has to be at 160... and Ward he HAS to come down to 164  .. and CHARLO we will only fight him if the WBC orders us to fight him  '

Fight is at the same weight that you've refused to move from your entire career :hubie:

I saw a welterweight stay in pocket and whoop him for 12 at 36 :hubie: you were being a diva on some '160 or no fight :mjcry: ' shyt..fact is you need this fight and you cant afford to lose at this point in your career.

Not many excuses for Canelo either but atleast he can say 'this is my first fight at 160' :manny: and 'I still have many years left on the clock :manny: ' . If GGG loses to a guy making his debut at 160 my guy @Newzz is sending him into the same bushes you'll find Kovalev at with bottles of belvedere  .

Again, options after the fight. I know both of these guys will wanna fight Jacobs they're both gonna 'ignore :mjpls: ' Charlo. Hopefully BJS beats Monroe because hes a bad matchup for either fighter

that guy still salty as hell, still out there acting like he would been robbed. :stopitslime: Canelo beat you on a close fight, get over it. You didn't do shyt after like the first 3-4 rounds, Canelo adopted and bombed you with body shots you didn't adapt well enough and you lost.

Just shut up already and go fight Andrade instead of the Jan Zavecks and Yuri Foremans of the world

fukkin Lara had the fight for the taking and in the 3rd or 4th took a body shot backtracked the whole fight and threw the same jab and straight left all fight.

Think so? Well he's 27 now. Hasn't really taken much punishment. This fight will shave a few years off, that's for sure. I'll give Canelo til 35. He will be around and on top for.another 5 years, at least.

Canelo is one of the few fighters you can actually see improve every fight. The skills he learned will allow him to fight way as his prime. He's one of the few people left who can make you miss without a lot of wasted motion and is always in position to counter off it. Think Mike mccallum.

GGG has to force the action constantly and force canelo to work all the time. But I dont see him being able to walk through the abuse that canelo is going to put on him.

I haven't seen enough improvement in GGG boxing game to see how he's going to beat canelo.

Canelo is one of the few fighters you can actually see improve every fight.
and that's also something people aren't taking into consideration. canelo is improving every time he steps in the ring and saturday will be no different. we're gonna see a canelo who's better than ever, while little g will be the same as always. shyt, I think even last year canelo could have beat little g. so I really think this canelo will win convincingly. the only way little g can win is if he pressures canelo like maidana did floyd. but he doesn't have maidana stamina, and also maidana wasn't fearful of floyd's power. once little g takes a flush right hand and a left hook to the body that doubt will be permanently placed in his head. people can say what they want about canelo's power, but nobody has ever been able to walk through his power shots with no problem. once little g feels canelo's power, he's gonna know this isn't the same shyt he's used to.

stevens and lemiuex may punch harder than canelo, but little g could see all their shots coming. he could brace for em. canelo will be hitting him with bombs from every different angle....shyt that he doesn't see. jabs....body shots...uppercuts. if canelo can get to the body early, it's a wrap. canelo is great at setting the tone early with body work. by the mid rounds his opponents are so worried about the body punches, they start putting their guard down to protect themselves, then canelo goes for the head. little g has never had to deal with a body puncher like canelo in his life. this is one of those fights where the first round is gonna so crucial in how the rest of the fight plays out. I think both guys are gonna want to make their mark early.

Canelo will be able to bounce back If he loses, though his brand will take a hit; however, GGG won't, and I think he knows that. I hope GGG comes out swinging. I am not really rooting for either guy, though I'm a bigger fan of Canelos
GGG can suffer a loss, he just can't get destroyed while doing so imo

I think the key for Canelo is to stay in GGG chest and test his stamina.

For GGG I think he needs to stay on the outside and counter.
