If Eli Manning wins another Superbowl, is it safe to say he is better than Payton Manning?

Eli never had the weapons Peyton had and still won more super-bowls

For Super Bowls to matter the players in question have to actually be comparable so no.

He's a better playoff performer then Peyton ever was regardless.

But if Eli wins another SB(prob another SB MVP) it could be interesting.

Wasn't like Eli was throwing to bums. And Indy never had the defense that NY had. Honestly I would say Peyton is better but Giants have had better talent overall.

Eli wasn't throwing to HOFers either like Peyton was. And Indy did have a great Defense with Bob Sanders and Freeney but Peyton normally choked in the postseason.

Also, the most yards Peyton ever thew in a season was 4,700 and Eli threw for 4,900 last season :mjpls:

Peyton would've thrown for 5,000 yards last year lets be honest. Can't dismiss Plax, Hakeem, or Cruz either.

Idk bout how great that Indy D was either breh. Feeney and Mathis were money but Sanders was always hurt.

This has to be the worst argument ever constructed. Every time I see it :mindblown:. Eli's weapons were obviously good enough to win the SB with. It's not like they won or he put up numbers despite his receivers. It's not like nikkas were dropping all kinds of passes and struggling to get open. It's not like Eli made them hold on to the ball. They made the plays that had to be made when they had to be made. I also find it funny how people always talk about Peyton's weapons and his playoff failures and never talk about how those two things intertwine. nikkas never talk about how normally sure handed nikkas would catch a mysterious case of the drops when subjected to physical playoff football or how they would struggle to get open or make big mistakes. Nope all you hear it Peyton had weapons and didn't win. :scusthov: Peyton has been the more consistent and prolific player. Eli has been more fortunate. Not even gonna front on Eli though, he's really taken his game to a new level in the last couple of years and become far more consistent. He'd need another decade or so of that to beat his brother out.

:what: So would he be better than every QB that only one 1 or 2 superbowls too or those that never won? (Montana, Young, or Marino)

In 16 career postseason games Marvin Harrison has TWO touchdowns and ONE 100 yard game(all of these came in the same game). :scusthov: Manning has definitely had his share of struggles, but that right there is just amazing.
