No L for me. I said IF not WHEN.
If anything it speaks to the greatness of Lebron

Literally none if the advanced metrics, no other traditional metric, favor '16 Kyrie, other than PPG. Stop it. We know he's a 2. The duration of that postseason, there wasn't a single time you thought he wasn't a 2 on a team with Peak LeBron James...
They played together for 3 years. Kyrie was always a 2...
The question isn't who played with the most talent, re:Wade. The topic was "got their most success with LeBron", and Wade always gets omitted even though there is ZERO argument that his 12-year non-LeBron career, was more successful than his 4-year LeBron career...
Wade was a 1 better suited as a 2. As a 1, take away the '06 run, this nikka career was very, very average. You lucky he has '06 or we'd be talking about fam like we talk about Melo ..
At Wade's peak he wasn't comfortably Top 3, because his peak coincided simultaneously with Dwight's and people do either misremember, or just disregard, how great Dwight was. He and Wade both peaked at the same time and while different positions and all that, my remembrance of that era is that it was Dwight and Wade right after Bron and Kobe, and Melo a half step behind...The issue with Wade is he had one of the shortest primes ever for an atg player. Only 7 years. And 3 of those years were willfully punted by Riley and the Heat to get ready for their free agency recruitment
However every metric says Dwade was a number 1 and not a 2. He was a comfortable top 5….even top 3 player in his prime. That’s far above anything Melo ever did..even when throwing out his rings…
People have always used him conveniently as a weapon against LeBron, rather than truly discussing who and what he is as a player...Best thing for Kyrie's career was Bron signing with the Cavs. That 2016 title and that shot made teams believe he can be THAT guy. Dude averaged like 14 pts on the road in the finals this yr.
When Cavs got down 3-1, the only player on the team that was capable of spearheading that comeback was Bron and he did that shyt on both ends. His play on defense alone rubbed off on the other players.People have always used him conveniently as a weapon against LeBron, rather than truly discussing who and what he is as a player...
His not with LeBron career is 10 complete years now. One Finals run this year that he didn't play well in, and really was up and down all playoffs. A bunch of missed postseason, a bunch of injury years, a couple embarrassing playoff losses directly attributed to something he did...
He been eating off his success with LeBron for years...
Not only that, it was Kyrie's only points of the entire 4thQ. Bron had just had a stretch right before that, where he scored the previous 7 or 9 points for Cleveland, and hit a huge 3 to take the lead himself, and made all the big defensive plays...When Cavs got down 3-1, the only player on the team that was capable of spearheading that comeback was Bron and he did that shyt on both ends. His play on defense alone rubbed off on the other players.
I find it funny when ppl try to minimize Bron in that finals just because Kyrie hit a shot in a tie game, like Bron didn't lead both teams in all statistical categories.
He was ass this year in the playoffs. It was a poster on here that said he dragged Luka to the finals lolBest thing for Kyrie's career was Bron signing with the Cavs. That 2016 title and that shot made teams believe he can be THAT guy. Dude averaged like 14 pts on the road in the finals this yr.

That's never stopped posters from slandering other players, so let's not try and use it as an excuse with Kyrie now.It ain't Kyrie fault. Folks stay tryna make him something he ain't because they are so enamored with his skillset which ironically ain't a #2 skillset. He's a number 1 that ain't big enough or frankly smart enough to be that so he gets cast as a 2. But he doesn't do 2 things. 2s are supposed to supplement the 1. Generally 1s are doing the scoring and the 2s are making their mark on defense and or playmaking and rebounding...basically making life easier for the 1 and their teammates. Kyrie just goes and gets his. That's not a bad thing but it means he doens't fit into the boxes that folks try to put him in.
