The problem with a lot of people who come to this thought process is that right now as we are facing a presidential election between Hillary and Trump it is kinda too late to be all "I'm sick of voting for lesser evils!".That's the state of mind that enables this madness. Do you know what doing the same thing and expecting a different result is called?
The American public in 1992
"Thing really aren't working out with these Republicans, let's try a Democrat"

2016
"Wow, so I guess it's Hillary Vs. Trump . . this is really the election I never would've wanted. I guess I'll have to pick the lesser of two evils It doesn't matter that most of my peers feel the same way. We couldn't possibly vote for another party's candidate"
Hmm . . I wonder why things don't work for us . . I just can't seem to wrap my head around this
You people are all sheep
It's disgustingly pathetic how dronish of sheep you people are
If you truly feel like our election system is fukked up then the work has to start long before a presidential election season starts. Protest voting now is a waste of time; if you are serious about change then you should be supporting third party candidates in local and state elections.
Once a legit third party starts to win elections at all levels of government then a third party candidate will be a legitimate option in a presidential election.
But as a voting public we are all way too fixated on presidential elections and tend to just drop the ball at all other levels.
