Meanwhile, Uncle Al is attempting a pincer move over in the UK in discussions with Sky Sports. He's already made a deal with UK-based ITV.

If successful, Al will have a deal with the following platforms:
  • Fox
  • Showtime
  • ITV
  • Sky Sports

That is Phenomenal!

I've just reread this entire thread. I'm starting to realize that certain segments on here live in a form of boxing bubble. They either don't frequent forums that are solely centered on boxing or only listen to boxing social media that confirm their biases. Eddie Hearn's own statements are contracting the arguments people are trying to make about the location being set in stone in the contract.

And Bob the limey cockroach of boxing has ESPN, gets Olympians, is making big in-roads in Europe with Macklin management team while Hearn has to put his best shyt eating grin on.

Even Coke Boy Oscar has the Golden Goose in Canelo.

Hearn is a moron.

and don't sleep on veteran english promotor Frank Warren who has a natural gift for discovering and developing talent like he did with Lennox Lewis ...

Frank is also responsible for creating England's first ever channel dedicated exclusively to Boxing.....BOXNATION which just recently inked a multifight multiyear deal with the BT network in england and still has spots on Skysports and Virgin

as for Hearn everybody in the boxing world knows this dude is a fukking MORON

he truly is.....and that's why none of the other promoters respect him..he is an animated little turd who is simply running the business his pops created

Arum told him to his face..."YOU DON'T KNOW D*** ABOUT PROMOTING IN THE UNITED STATES"

If you're in England you're better off signing with Frank Warren and if you're in the States you stay far far away from that guy.

His dad is the genius.

Why do folks think Wilder and Fury (despite his boasting) never signed with dude!?!?

Is there a precedent for someone getting out of a rematch clause by stalling?
Y’all acting like Ruiz can just not fight again until he get his terms like the sanctioning bodies wont just strip his ass and move on
Location doesn’t seem like that big of a deal to Joshua or Hearns so it probably will be in the states again
They probably throw a few million more than what was in the clause Ruiz way to avoid the legal fees of going to court and everyone will be happy :yeshrug:

It's crazy how clueless most people are about everything but present it as fact, it's insane to observe. It's startling, it seems like trolling but I don't think some are.

Just for anybody who may genuinely not be aware, the rematch terms were agreed prior, AJ and his team decide the venue and the purse for Ruiz has already been agreed. He has no further say because he's already signed the contract agreeing it, he can back out but will face big legal ramifications, this is why contracts exist and it's iron clad so I doubt he will back out. There's no need for him to either because he will believe he can win the rematch, and if he does then that's he can do what he likes.

The rematch money for Ruiz isn't publically known, but it's estimated to be about 10 mil. He can ask for and make any demands he wants, it doesn't matter at all. Also he has no choice on location, he will be informed where the rematch will take place. Currently where we're at with it is, AJ has suggested it be in U.S again, even MSG again, he's happy to fight there, Eddie thinks it's best in U.K, AJ is willing to fight anywhere.

Personally I think it should be in U.K because they did 1 fight where Ruiz resides so it's fair to do 1 where AJ does. AJ can always come back to U.S later, plus if he beats Ruiz this time then they could always have a 3rd fight at a later time down the line too if it's competitive.
I told these dudes the terms to the rematch was already set. Ruiz is getting 10 million for the rematch, but u can’t tell most these nikkas shyt. Because they don’t like Joshua (I don’t like him either)they are going to talk more money for Ruiz into existence

I don't even know why you argue with this dude. The fight is going to be in the US. The $50 million threat is to force the fight stateside. If "Hairplugs" stands his ground, all Ruiz has to do is fake an injury and sit out for a year. Contract terms expire after 12 months. It's been done in boxing before. It's not like Hearn doesn't have a history of having contracts without venues and dates.

Meanwhile, Uncle Al is attempting a pincer move over in the UK in discussions with Sky Sports. He's already made a deal with UK-based ITV. See what happens when you move in silence and you don't have you face stuck in the camera trying to be Puffy?

If successful, Al will have a deal with the following platforms:
  • Fox
  • Showtime
  • ITV
  • Sky Sports

Basically this - not that it really benefits AJ, rather its to build/rebuild his stateside profile. Unless the rematch terms were extra flimsy, i cant see how Ruiz has much say in this situation, the most sway he would have is basically with what you've alluded to . . . . sit it out until it blows over. Even with that, I can see team AJ suing.

I don’t think it’s a deal, I think they will be getting select fights like they got this last one

Yeah, Sky won the rights to show that fight. There's no promotional deal with Al though, Matchroom have an exclusive deal with Sky for boxing, for probably around 2 years at least.

it is a REALITY dumbazz and happens all the time

:why: you can't be that DUMB......like really dude?

you do realize it's common for Networks to have deals with two or more promoters simultaneously

Currently DAZN has a multimillion dollar deals with MATCHROOM BOXING (eddie hearn) and GOLDEN BOY PROMTIONS (de la hoya)

this isn't the first time this happened..in fact HBO started this business model back in the late late 80s....

i know this firsthand because i as an OG attended many HBO broadcasted events when i was running around with a few New York based boxers such as Buddy Mcgirt who was best friends with a family member of mine....

when they had deals with Top Rank (bob arum) and Main Event promotions (the late Lou Duva) as well as Don King productions till Don decided to jump ship to SHOWTIME cause him and the big dawgs at HBO was beefing over PPV revenue

And keep in mind we talking big money HAYMON here breh...

he is on some next level shyt when it comes to doing business with NETWORKS

because he buys TIME SLOTS for his fights.....

unlike the traditional way of the promoter begging for the network to cut the check...

cause usually NETWORKS would pay to have the broadcast rights to a fight

HAYMON CHANGED THE GAME and said NAH..KEEP YA BREAD

i'll put up the bag to BUY SPOTS on your network if you allow me to get the bulk of that AD REVENUE..

all these networks was like :whoo: ok

it was an OFFER THEY COULDNT REFUSE

that's why PBC has been all over these networks

hqdefault-2.jpg

..fox...spike...itv...nbc...cbs...hell i even seen PBC bouts on Bounce tv ..lol :pachaha:

HAYMON changed the game :manny:

thats why they REALLY hate haymon...

ARUM ...DE LA HOYA and DUVA are now forced to SPEND BREAD to compete...

and they ain't got that bag like HAYMON whom according to that CLARENCE AVANT documentary been getting SHOW DOUGH since the 70s

and along with that 400 million hedge fund.....

he been able to RULE THE BOXING WORLD :blessed:

dawg...u really need to stop posting about the boxing business

HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED A LIVE MATCH? :why:

HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED A SPARRING SESSION?

MET WITH PROMOTERS..MANAGERS etc.?

u speaking as if you have some insight on this but its CLEAR YOU DON'T

sit your azz down.....clown
