that shirt ruiz got on is sharp, and i am a luiz fan for real. i saw one of his sparring sessions and dudes speed and power it was too much, you couldnt notice well in the AJ fight because AJ is a beast but dude was beasting on his sparring civilian.

i hope he gets over 15 million, because AJ is in dire straights right now.

Andy Ruiz Jr. to Anthony Joshua: Don't even think about UK rematch!

Andy Ruiz Jr. to Anthony Joshua: Don’t even think about UK rematch!

Mexican-American Andy Ruiz Jr. has fired a warning to Anthony Joshua over the venue for their rematch in 2019.

With Joshua set to take on Ruiz Jr. later in the year, we seem to be no closer to finding a venue for the rematch.

As WBN previously reported, streaming service DAZN want New York to re-host the clash after his awesome display on June 1st.

This is despite Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn hoping to take the encounter to home soil in the UK.

Joshua will be attempting to win back his heavyweight titles after he was dropped four times and eventually beaten by Ruiz at MSG.

Boxing fans from around the world were shocked when the Olympic gold medalist lost his four world titles earlier in the year. A result that has been described as one of the biggest shocks in heavyweight boxing.

The stakes will be higher than ever going into the rematch, and Ruiz is determined that it will not be contested on Joshua’s home soil.

In an interview with TMZ, the current champion stated that he wants to fight to be held in ‘Mexico or New York City again, Vegas or here [in LA]’, and seems adamant that he won’t back down if Joshua doesn’t agree.

Joshua should just rematch him in NY and that's it.
Ruiz is a feelgood underdog story but dude starting to act like he wouldn't be contractually tied to do the rematch. If there's really a rematch clause he is in no position to extort them with threatening them of withdrawing from the rematch

Yeah this is what i dont get . . . There is a rematch clause. All Ruiz can realistically do is not agree to the fight and break the clause? What happens then - do the governing bodies make him vacate the belts? :jbhmm:

Dudes feeling himself a bit too much now, i though he was the sort of guy that would go anywhere and fight.

come off it, travelling is trouble. you have jet lag, new place, new training camp and then the home advantage to the other fighter. it happened to ruiz before with the split decision going to joe parker in new zealand when many thought he won.

its a big deal, his fighting him next his not runing or ducking but his the champ and is allowed a few options.
