If Andre 3000 was from NY, would he be universally accepted as the GOAT?

No offence but this is way NYC nikkas get cocky, just look at your insecurity. It don't matter where the fukk that nikka andre 250 comes from he will always be a weirdo fakkit.

And yet, he gets props, but people stop from going all the way. Seems most people top 5 is in no particular order, Rakim, Big, Pac, Nas, Jay. Why can't Andre crack that consistently? Is is region racism?

He is definitely ahead of Jay fo. Possibly Big as well.

Does he have ONE solo rapping album? No? Well that should eliminate him from any comparisons to the mc's you've just named.

Putting out generic ass 16's twice a year while nikkas like Nas and Camel are releasing full length LP's like American Gangster and Life Is Good should speak for itself.

Most on point post in this thread. Andre should be excluded from any GOAT talks, regardless of where he's from, because he doesn't have a solo album and his verses are severely overrated.

:what: Love Below is not a rap album. Thus, Andre does not have a solo rap album.

In waitin on that solo album. Anyone can spit a classic 16. But not everyone can hold down a whole album.

Not saying he can't but why hasn't he yet?

He isn't my favourite by any means, but sometimes you just got to bow down. His verse on sixteen, come on, was probably verse of the year contender with Nas on Triple Beam Dreams.

Thing is though, Andre has been way consistent with his greatness though. He has all the statistics. Classic albums, classic songs, classic verses, sales, crossover appeal, grammys, critical approval, longevity, resonant lyrics etc. Like he posts points in every single important category.

And yet, he gets props, but people stop from going all the way. Seems most people top 5 is in no particular order, Rakim, Big, Pac, Nas, Jay. Why can't Andre crack that consistently? Is is region racism?

EASILY the most overrated rapper of all time!!!!

:pachaha: at u thinking Love Below is a hip hop album. Even if it is, it wouldn't and shouldn't be rated anything more than a average album ( if it's gonna be judged as a hip hop album). So even if we assume The Love Below is a hip hop album, that gives Andre 1 mediocre hip hop album, some dope verses and a boat load of over hyped verses. Again...why should we consider him GOAT?
