Shouldn't we look to actual Black countries for inspirations and not a diaspora? No one said shyt is freaking sweet. But you're using the same old tired immigrant arguments. Nigerians are small as hell in the West compared to ADOS who number around 45 million. For example comparing Nigerian-Americans who are 380,785 to a group that is 45 million(larger than Canada and Australia) is flat out ridiculous due to skewed scale and perspective. @IllmaticDelta and @Supper already debunked this.I'm talking about Nigerian's born and raised in the West. Emulate their relative success, more black doctors and engineers. Pretending there isn't anything to learn from them is a fallacy. This isn't the time for emotion to get in the way of practicality, feasibility and ways to reach your goal.
Not Nigeria itself. I know that country is a cluster fukk.
I know Tanzania, Botswana and Ghana are good examples. But that's far off, I'm talking about the initial steps required to even reach that state. To even get to the start line for example.
Basically last place in every metric, Black Wealth reaching 0 by 2050, leading in abortions, out of wedlock births, worst health, obesity, etc. Partly due to oppression from the state and white people, yes. (I refuse to use the word white supremacy anymore, makes me want to throw up).
Are you seriously going to tell me shyt is sweet? That as things stand right now, it would be a success? A cultural shift is absolutely needed. You would need to wean people off the identity of being an American, you would have to instill an almost militant stance on most issues, it would be need a ton of work.
And we don't need to "emulate" anything because in terms of raw numbers there are many upon many more successful ADOS communities and institutions than Nigerian-American ones. Correcting your ignorance is not being emotional.
Why the Growth of Black Businesses is Skyrocketing
Why the Growth of Black Businesses is Skyrocketing
Some of you guys desperately need to visit some Middle Class Black communities. Yes, they exist.
PS: "emulating" Nigerian-Americans isn't going correct Black wealth from reaching 0 by 2050. That's a federal issue which requires reparations due to engineered disenfranchisement of ADOS by local and federal govt.
