Theres a scene in the beginning when Johnny Cage comes to the Island for the tournament and interacts with Liu Kang for the first time. Johnny Cage being a racist dikkhead thinks Liu Kang is a bellboy and proceeds to hand him his luggage and asks him to take it to his hotel room.
Liu Kang goes "no problem!" and throws all of Johnny Cage's luggage in the river.
