so let me get this straight, Hamas has killed 20 israelis - 18 soldiers and 2 civilians, while Israel has killed 500 palestinians with the majority being civilians? Wasnt it supposed to be Hamas targeting the civilians?

I just got dual citizenship (2 weeks ago). I know as a dual citizen you still have to follow federal laws in foreign lands and depending on the country can be punished based on the law of the us or the original state of residency but i think they still recognize it, unless youre talking semantics about passport use etc

That's part of the reason nobody should fukk with Hamas. They have gotten crazy money and don't even use it to improve Gaza. Why are people in this thread wanting the west bank to "open up another front" against israel, brah Arabs cannot win this battle. It's not written for them to win, or they would have already won. Nobody in the west bank should be even thinking about joining Hamas embarassing little skirmish here. The neighbors of Israel remember the six day war and how they got shyt on legendary, nobody is trying to fight a western army. The best way out for the arabs is to basically let israel run their affairs and become israeli citzens
. Netanyahu was already saying that even he can't really see a solution where the palestinians have a secure state, Israel will always have to occupy in order to maintain a buffer zone. I really think the idea of a 2 state solution is gone with the wind, those of use sitting here in this thread will never see it i know that much.

I have dual citizenship too but when I swore the oath I had to renounce prior allegiances. It's there in the official text but it does seem the law states that the US does recognize dual citizenship for the most part. You just can't claim immunity from US laws it appears.

But the Oath of Allegiance requires renouncing of prior official ties to any state.

I agree that it seems they have been pretty reckless how they have killed civilians but evidence does show that Hamas is launching rockets from civilian areas, possibly forcing residents to hide arms, which there is no evidence of, but unless you are saying that all the people in Gaza are willing to hide rockets then i think it's safe to assume many have been forced or coerced into doing it against their best judgement. Especially in Hospitals and other civil service buildings. I know what Israel wants, i don't know what Hamas really wants though, i have a feeling maybe they think one day the world will force Israel to give back the land or something. It seems some of them truly think if they just hold out for years doing these same tactics eventually the world will go "ok, jewish people you must leave the area" which we all know won't happen. The more they fight the more they will cause Israel to occupy more land. And im absolutely convinced at this point if there is ever peace, the entire area will be called Israel, with Arabs holding Israeli citizenship, basically the Palestinians greatest fear i think will happen eventually.
I thought at the beginning of this conflict, why can't Israel just sit there like
and use the defence system to shoot down all the rockets while they negotiate peace etc. and not bomb. But you have to think rockets are being blasted randomly and the defence system doesn't always work, so the entire society has to be put on hold multiple times a day
that would be bullshyt. And if they did take that route then they would have to proceed to i guess arm another group of palestinians to go kill hamas anyway
, or the Islamic Jihad group or whoever doesn't want peace and wants to continue a war against Israel. So they wait for how long while getting rockets shot at them while some other group cleans up the remaining militant factions 
it's unreasonable to expect them to take that approach. But there is also the other issues like settlements and blockades which cause big problems, as of right now one group clearly has to dissapear and that is Hamas and anybody in the area who wants the destruction of Israel because if they are lingering around this will continue to happen.
