How does a buyout impact our cap. This year / following years?
Why would OKC want Dennis? Still a high annual cap hit for them

We'll basically be out of cap space this year (which is cool) but this deal free's up cap space the following years no longer having Dennis money on the book.
This deal is likely best case scenario for getting rid of Dennis tbh. We don't have to take back any bad long-term contracts...all we have to do is eat Melo's contract this year.
OKC can use Dennis as a dynamic 6th man and Muscala can stretch the floor which would be good for them.

On this throwback Thursday, let's appreciate the ATL legend that went by the name "J-Smoove" 
During this era, the #Set wasn't taking shyt from NOBODY, we had smoke with whoever got slick at the mouth
. We went at it with Bull's stans when they were poking their chests out because they had a prime D. Rose and ended up sending them into hiding. We went at with Celtics fans, Pistons fans, even had Heat fans running to us for protection when they had the Big 3, lol. We had the entire Coli hating us. We not even going to talk about how we handled Knicks fans that got slick at the mouth when they thought they were the shyt with Melo
