Of course the ATL
Yea this is just trying to build his value up. Trying to make it seem like he better for the locker room than he really is.

If we openly talking about he not part of the plans, we def aint getting a team to take that contract

It also really makes Schroeder look bad if he's anything less than a great teammate/mentor to Trae

Defensively this could be a WOAT level backcourt if they see time together. Offensively it could be interesting but it would require Schroeder to give the ball up and be a real PG...Not sure that's gonna happen

:dwillhuh:

Coach Pierce can't possibly believe what he's saying here. Schroeder has already said he doesn't want to be on a losing organization, mentioned Indy or MIL as options & got into a weird Twitter war with Prince. Why would Schroeder be the guy to mentor and embrace the new face of the franchise who also happens to play his position?

This gotta be aimed at trying to improve Schroeder's image for possible trades. There's a chance Schroeder isn't even here this upcoming season

Hopefully some sucker GM will believe it :yeshrug:

Dennis was talking out of his ass. Put me on the boat to keep him as the starting PG. Don't trust playing freshman PGs starter minutes. Seen this fail way too many times

Nah I appreciate Schroeder's honesty. He doesn't want to be here and based off of how bad we project to be for the next couple seasons I can understand why he would want to leave. But let's keep it a buck: Schroeder isn't the long term answer for the Hawks anymore and has never shown himself to be a mentor or leader. I just think it's unrealistic to say he's going to be a mentor to Trae based off of what he's been for his career.

As for playing time, yea it would be nice to bring Trae along without expecting him to have all of the starter minutes

Julio is holding out. I am not cool with putting Young in a terrible spot and possibly ruin his career because playing him 30+MPG in the NBA is asking for a disaster.

On the court, Dennis would be a great mentor for Trae. The one thing Dennis does at a very high level is finish in traffic and that’s exactly what Trae is going to have to be able to do if he is going to be elite.

:whoa:

Schroeder has high usage, mediocre from 3 (29%), averages 3 turnovers a game and was a bystander on defense. There's very few things Schroeder does I would want Trae to mimic...Schroeder plays a very selfish brand of basketball

Just speaking about driving and finishing at the rim specifically. Dennis is great finisher at the rim and he’s really only 5’10. Hopefully Trae will bring that as well while being much better in other areas.

Dennis averaged 19.3 points and 6.2 assists on 43% shooting. If he can clean his image up and cut out some of the turnovers, I can see him raising his trade value by the time the trade deadline comes around. Some playoff-bound team will need a point guard due to injury or just needing to get better at the position.

Pacers
Houston (is CP3 doesn't come back)

No Dennis is solidly over 6 feet. I stood next to him a few weeks ago. He's just thin as shyt.

In shoes maybe 6ft. I did locker room security this past season so I saw him every game.

Hollywood why would his height without shoes matter though? It's not like he's ever gonna play a game in his socks or barefoot :pachaha:

I didn't realize you did security though :salute:
