Curry, Durant , Mark Price, Reggie Miller , Dirk and Larry Bird are the only other people to ever do it

He shot 42% and 36% in college and his game relies on taking alot of bad shots so probably not.

Maybe he if he played off the bench and was ultra conservative with his shot selection he could but thats just not the kind of player he is

I don't get that at all from his show. The problem with you and others on this site is that you subscribe to Coli group think and adopt an opinion without critically thinking about what you're saying, you're just parroting other people's opinion on here. His show and his act in many ways is a troll job...but he is a shock jock who says outrageous things for a reaction. He should be condemned for racist comments but his show is entertaining to me. It is what it is but I'm not going to continue to debate Cowherd in this thread unless it's Hawks related. So if you're not talking Hawks

Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce believes that Dennis Schroder will be “a tremendous role model” for rookie point guard Trae Young.

On Monday, Pierce told the media that Young is “just trying to follow in [Schroder’s] footsteps” as a player. (Via the AJC‘s Michael Cunningham):

“I think Dennis will be a tremendous role model,” Pierce said Monday. “We’ve talked already about him and Trae not only coexisting, but him being a leader for Trae and helping him on the court. Dennis has had a lot of success in the league and he’s a guy that still has a lot of growing to go, and Trae is just trying to follow in those footsteps.” […]

“Talking to Dennis, he’s excited,” Pierce said. “He was excited about who were going to end up with in the draft and he was excited about where we are headed. I talked to him about playing with Trae and with the other guys. He’s back in Germany with his national team but he’s also excited about the guys that we have.”

Coach Pierce can't possibly believe what he's saying here. Schroeder has already said he doesn't want to be on a losing organization, mentioned Indy or MIL as options & got into a weird Twitter war with Prince. Why would Schroeder be the guy to mentor and embrace the new face of the franchise who also happens to play his position?

This gotta be aimed at trying to improve Schroeder's image for possible trades. There's a chance Schroeder isn't even here this upcoming season
