what is he exactly? black/white?
That's now NOT back then. They were making paper in the '80's which is why crime was so high, everyone wanted more money because it was so easy to get because damn near everyone was getting high. I think Ice was just a smart man and knew the violence that came along with drug dealing, especially in a gang infested area, so he chose quick licks which makes sense because even though the money isn't the same it's faster than drug dealing(if you do enough of them) and the risk is lower for violence and doing time. If you get caught with ki's you can get football numbers if you rob a bank or jewelry store maybe 5-10 years and that's if you get caught being that you did it out of town.
this is his real life story.... everything he says in these joints really happened

he's not bad. nothing special though. always plays himself basically.
I don't think he was bangin, but he was in the streets. My cousin said he got into it with that nikka in the early 80s over a broad out here in LADon't get me wrong breh anyone that survived that era should get type respect. But was Ice T really doing the dirt
Or was he the homie in the back?
yeah that Colton Simpson dude was a notorious crip that hit licks wit Ice T back in da day.... he was still hittin serious licks in the 2000's so u know its crazy paper if he made a career out of it
