Breh many of these young kats on here have no idea. Folks gonna think Cube some Johnny come lately on this. When he been talking about this same shyt for 30 years on rap tracks and in interviews.

I mean you can literally take his 3 albums.. americas most wanted, death certificate and predator and it talks about all this shyt laid out in his plan. And them albums came out 25 plus years ago.

This shyt just going over these kats heads.
I had to school somebody on here who thought Cube was copying Pac lol

I had to tell him that Pac was a HUGE fan of Cube and was influenced by him

Man that song still bumps:banderas: Play the Westside Remix in the car and turn that bass up:whoo:

Breh during the riots I just kept bumping we had to tear this mothafukka up, when will they shoot and who got the camera.

Man this shyt 28 years old and still as relevant today as it was in 1993.

And he was calling out these pigs by full name on the album.

Truth. Cube the only rapper to have his nationally released album to be boycotted by jewish folks all across america...:mjlol:

I will never forget how they had the guardian angels and jewish groups boycotting Death Certificate. Then at the same location across the street you had a line of black people waiting for the record store to open so they could buy Death Certificate...:mjlol:

Then after hearing black Korea song asian groups were boycotting Cube..:lolbron:

Album still sold out and went platinum

Pac's code of "Thug Life" was ahead of its time...
It was also just bad optically. Most people only take the thug and not the revolution aspects from him. Which is something that has frustrated me for years. How many people who emulate pac do it for his revolutionary ideas?

I get that he took the whole sugar pill approach to avoid being preachy and tried to meet folks in the middle but it didn't work in the end. most people missed the point which means his message missed the mark.

Norfeast groovin…
Because black immigrants are immune to systemic racism and police brutality. :camby:

That’s the only thing that can be frustrating sometimes because many Black immigrants still suffer at the hands of the system.

But with that said, as immigrants or the children of immigrants we should help to address some of the legit gripes that Black Americans have regarding us. We should be as hard on colonized Africans insulting Black people here as we’d be on whites or Black Americans acting in a sellout, colonized manner towards us. Like they shouldn’t even get a moment where the foot isn’t on their neck and that’s on us to do.

Aside from that, I hope policies are implemented where applicable. Because there was Black immigrants before the influx in the later half of the 20th century and I’m pretty sure they had a rough time too with housing, jobs, policing, etc. But we should play a complimentary role for our Black brothers and sisters here as their ancestors have done a lot to get us here. Any fights which involves their uplift is directly beneficial to Black immigrants and their children. A strong Black America is paramount.

Nice to see Cube going back to his old ways tho.
