Mehhh, everything that happened in the series to him & his people he brought on himself. Brandon, Tasha, Butchie all died because of Omar fukking with the wrong people and thinking he was untouchable.Nah, he never killed anyone that wasn't in "the game". In the show's spectrum of morality, he's about as neutral as they come.
Fred.
The nikka had on a suit and in another city or part of town. most people are known by name recognition, not face. That scene proved nothing.
Marlo could've killed 100 no name security guards. It doesn't matter. He would never be "the king". Which is why the two dudes at the end had no idea who he even was, let alone know that he was supposed to be feared/respected.
I think it's hilarious they kill the security guard for "checking" Marlo over a sucker, but were about Omar blatantly shytting all over his name and reputation in the streets.

True Neutral im thinking of Deangelo, or Wallace
True for Tasha & Brandon, but not for the others. They either weren't in the game or wanted out.If that's the case Brandon, Tasha & Butchie brought it all on themselves as well. Same with D & Wallace.
What's funny is that's an alignment chart from "Dungeons & Dragons".
Fred.
What? Butchie was a drug dealer. Butchie was Omar's bank and "protection". He knew that nikka had 1000 guns on him. D said he wanted out but he ain't walk away until he was booked. Wallace pointed out Brandon, I don't know what he thought was gonna happen. He said he was done. He left and came back. Plus he snitched.True for Tasha & Brandon, but not for the others. They still were neutral tho, they weren't good or evilWhat? Butchie was a drug dealer. Butchie was Omar's bank and "protection". He knew that nikka had 1000 guns on him. Marlo ordered the hit on the security guard. Marlo put a hit on Omar. Omar hit back. Marlo had to get low like a sucker and it that time Omar was shytting on his name hardbody. Now how Marlo never heard about it until they were booked is open for discussion.

Prop Joe and Avon were known all over Baltimore. Hell, Avon went to jail and still got respect.
Marlo was just never on that level.
And you ain't really seeing my point. It's not that Marlo didn't want to hit back, it's that his people hid it from him because they knew Omar wasn't no damn security guard, he'd actually fukk them up.
Another thing I forgot to mention earlier. When you're the king, you don't sweat small shyt. Look at how Avon handled a situation vs Marlo.
Avon checks a ref in season 1, and is actually disgusted that he won't defend himself. He tells him "you don't let anybody get in your face".
Marlo gets approached by a security guard, and has him killed because he felt disrespected over a piece of candy.
Avon would be ok with a ref telling him "fukk that, the call stands" because he's not insecure in who he is. Marlo was insecure, which is why he sent the goons out every time someone mentioned his name. These two cats were not remotely on the same level. Avon would've never done some bum shyt like steal the candy in the first place, and if he did and the security guard approached him I guarantee he'd "all right big man" and pay for the candy. His rep ain't light enough to get hurt because he chose to pay for a sucker.
Fred.
If you believe that Avon would've respected that ref if he said "fukk you", you gotdamn crazy. And I'm pretty sure Joe was like we ain't killing nobody over a basketball game.Prop Joe and Avon were known all over Baltimore. Hell, Avon went to jail and still got respect.
