shyt, one way or another, I (or others) got rid of all my systems over time. All I got left is my X1 and I've had all the heavy hitters except a PS4, Wii-U, and a Switch.

I game on PC tho so like the other brehs said, we still eating.

I sold my slim PS2 a decade ago along with all my games... This week though I got on the PCSX2 1.5 hype I got a very fast PC so all the games run smooth as butter and look amazing on this 1440p 27" monitor.

Of course I had to revisit the classics...

Starting with Burnout 3 Haven't played this game in a decade, there's a PSP port called Dominator which is pretty much the same mechanics but the tech wasn't as powerful so they couldn't replicate Crash mode the right way. The OG PS2 Crash mode... it's beautiful

Viewtiful Joe 2 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction ... I could go on and on


I fukked with some other shyt I used to own too but then I played a couple I never got to try... Psi-Ops: Mindgate Conspiracy was ahead of its time than a mf, these are some of the best superpower game mechanics & controls for this type of game I've ever seen This game is crack


I completely ignored JRPGs when I was younger... I missed out on so much piff its insane

And the best part is I ain't spent a dime fukk I look like re-buying overpriced mint condition DVDs or settling for scratched up copies...not to mention all the cables and adapters I'd have to cop to even hook up an OG PS2 to my monitor

I don't even remember what happened to my fat PS2. I think I let the homie borrow it and he never gave it back. That's the only game system I've lost over the years, besides my gameboys

The fact that Sony was more willing to systematically dismantle the PsX/PS2 era of backwards compatibility with the PS3 when they software modded the fat PS3's until they could start shipping new units with the ability taken out all together just so they could pimp that woefully inadequate PS classic section through their online service was one of the biggest kicks in the cock I've seen from a company in the game industry for some time.

shyt made me double down on buying a second ps2 for when my original slim kicks the bucket.

Still have my original “Fat Boy” Ps2...surprisingly it still works fine except the sound finally stopped working last year. I go back and replay a lot of games from that gen so I can’t get rid of the system. I might buy a PS2 slim tho...seen em around for about 40 bucks.
