I was on A HBCU college campus today and got a good understanding why everything is different now...

:russ: If you're sensitive enough to think calling you a "smart dumb nikka" and telling you to "stfu" is a "sissy-fit", then I'm sorry for hurting your feelings bro. Didn't know it'd get to you like that.

Let me coddle you and cater to your feelings and emotions a bit more: PLease know what you're talking about before you talk about it, otherwise you just appear to be a dumb ass. Wearing sagging pants, is stupid, unless you're a wannabe thug stuck in 2002. Black men are admitted/given scholarships/recruited at higher rates at HBCUs than women for lower performance (so you're argument of trying to get black men out makes no sense). And how do HBCU administrators have any control over exactly what their students are wearing unless you believe the only way to be a straight black man is to have your pants sagging.

Like I said, you're a smart dumb nikka and I feel bad for any future kids you have because them nikkas will be smart dumb nikkas too if they learn from you. So now, not only do you have an insulting sentence calling you a smart dumb nikka, but now you also have a couple of paragraphs that prove such as well. Go you. :lupe:

HOMOSEXUALITY is more accepted than ghetto niggro behavior.

I never said sagging pants WAS a good idea. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy from HBCU culture and it's coddling of today's effeminate society. If sagging is banned (as it should), men dressing like women should be banned also. You don't see men dressing like women in the corporate world, do you?

Here's my point:

In 2009, Morehouse banned sagging pants, hats worn in buildings, cross-dressing & makeup on men. The first part was OK... but Morehouse administrators were called homophobes as a result.

http://thegrio.com/2009/10/19/morehouse-college-that-legendary-institution/

Here's a more recent example of those shaming people who stand up against homosexuality...

http://www.americapreachers.com/entertainment/howard-university-students-ask-boycott-tonexs-concert/

Tonex has been no stranger to controversy in past years. From his flamboyant interviews with any television crew willing to interview him express his homosexual behaviors and how he claims he is “finally free,” to outrightly bashing many Christian artists who he claims are wolves in sheep’s clothing. His new concert, set for September 15 at The Howard Theatre, is causing many students at the school to become quite upset. With a Facebook page created entitled “Don’t support Tonex concert” and a Twitter handle, @BoycottTonex (which as of this morning has been removed), students at Howard believe the same negative words he spoke about many current Christian artists are his exact behaviors.

Angela Powell said, “He’s confused. One second he says he’s not gay then does a tour and says he is. He said he quit gospel but then comes out and says he’s not finished with Christian music yet. He needs to sit down somewhere.”

That quote from Angela Powell is her standing up against this foolishness. Now, let's go visit the comments section...

so the basis of the boycott is because some think he's confused? Yeah I'm going to need the Howard boycotters to have a few seats themselves

They have a right to boycott if they want. HOWEVER, none of them own the patent to Christianity. If this is how Tonex wishes to express his Christian faith, then more power to him. It's refreshing to me to see an openly gay black gospel artist seeing that so many are in the closet.

I was confused as to why they are boycotting him....when their homecoming concert artist(s) coming up in October is surely going to call or have called women out of their names......yeah! I need for HU protesters to sit down.

There you have it.

Exactly. What happens at PWI's is you have a "country club" atmosphere of black folks who are in the greeks, BSA etc. The "cool" kids so to speak. If you ain't in that space :camby:..You that weird negro with no black friends. This is why HBCU's are needed. That "weird" negro will be able to hang with other loner type blacks and feel comfortable and included in a predominantly black world. That self esteem manifests itself in other aspects of ones life.
None of this represents the real world breh

Actually it does. The whole real world experience blacks at PWI's harp on to justify their decisions is really a cop-out. Being around people of different races doesn't take 4 years :skip: to study. It's an excuse. Just say you don't view the HBCU education quality as adequate or efficient as PWI. You negroes just said it yourself by stating most black people end up self segregating themselves within PWI's, so obviously "diversity" isn't the real reason you chose that particular institution.

Yes. I agree with you 100%. Morehouse should definitely seek be equal in doling out dress code regulations to their female students studnets as well....

And that internet comment section of non-Morehouse employees, definitely shows the power structure of the college itself supporting homosexuals and there's no way anyone else could have protested back and said that the administrators could do that because everyone knows only homosexual supporters can protest for what they believe in, not anyone else. :blessed: You are right here, without a doubt.

Yes! :blessed: Another random , anonymous internet comment section that proves that HBCU administrations are in cahoots with the government to feminize black males. My mind is blown so much that I'm going to use this smilie: :mindblown: You're too good. :wow:

Has anyone here graduated from an HBCU and felt they got a good education?

Education is the least of our worries as a people. What's the point of all this education and $1 billion dollar purchasing power of blacks in America when there are no vested interests to keep the dollar recycling within?

Exactly. The biggest problem facing us as a people is self esteem. PWI negroes try their damnedest with that "real world" experience b/s..:Keep it real. You don't feel HBCU's are up to par and that's okay, but don't lie about it on some diversity tip when black people self-segregate for the most part at PWI's. HBCU's are great because black people get to see the diversity within their people. That's something most black people don't get.

My girl graduated from Hampton and swears she obtained a great one from them. Always says how hard it was.

I always envy her over the fact that she went to one. :to:

My friend graduated from Howard and now shes a writer for network television. :manny: I think its all up to the friend and what they're trying to get out of their education. You cant hope to absorb education through osmosis, friend. You have to have passion and you have to care about your mind and your future.

Way to exaggerate. Most black people on any campus look like this.

Some of you really gotta stop picking 2 people out of a crowd and applying to a whole group of people. It's old. Stop it.

Virginia State...that campus is beautiful :ohlawd:
