you could've done that at pretty much any PWI...black folks literally have their own world within the campus.

HBCUs aren't poppin like you might think. A lot of them have strict rules that prevent a lot of partying, drinking, etc. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have went to an HBCU....the quality of education (facilities, research opportunities, alumni network) isn't as high as it should be and the social scene is pretty .

I was enrolled in one, but chilled/partied at three other HBCU campuses not far from mine....and I heard the same story at all of them.

most PWI's "unintentionally" group most/all the blacks together in housing, and usually most blacks socialize at "black" parties.....this seems kinda strange.
