My father never taught me that shyt. and his family was raised in Jim Crow Louisiana.
He actually used his family past to teach all of us to stand up for each other by any means necessary.
so you can
And so did my family and I heard the saying often
Lets say me and my siblings go to the store and we loud, cussing, starting shyt, fighting with each other, etc… Especially a white-ish area or store.. how do you gonna think they will respond to any black people after that? They would’ve called police, security, anything. White people have ZERO issues snitching to anyone they view as a authoritative figure to you even if they create the issue.. been documented thousands of times already.
Thats why it’s called home training.. some shyt you’re taught at home on how to survive. Without it, it reinforces stereotypes that were in place to belittle or hold black people back
Basically.. don’t prove these white people right about you. fukk what they think in general, but this is the reality of the situation.
You don’t have to tapdance and kiss ass.. just don’t show them that they’re right about you.
Do you see any other minorities slapping each other up on a stage in front of the entire planet? Not really.
It was cool to know that even the rich black men are still black men at the end of the day but then and there wasn’t the place.
