So does the Gallo trade, and going into a year with higgy as the starting catcher, and bringing Gallo back after posting a .149/.283/.382 triple slash after the all star break. So does the Montas trade. All they had to do to get rid of Gary was non tender him. The worst part of the trade is that it didn’t address any team needs even on paper. It was just awful in every conceivable manner from day one.
