at Kay acting like this is some heartbreaking loss when the season has been over for weeksThis would still be the same garbage ass team full of injured and washed up players even if they won this game. Bad teams like them find ways to lose.

Cashman is like a cop who freezes up in a shootout. Once you're afraid to shoot, it ain't in you no more and you should hand in your badge.
Cashman is afraid of 2 things:
1. lefty hitters
and
2. young controllable assets he has to develop.
even though they're the keys to Yankee success. He got burned by the Baby Bombers. He got burned by all the lefties he signed and traded for and wants to do everything possible to win in spite of that and he can't. Combine that with Hal just dumbfounded at how teams can win without spending as much as them and you have a delusional directionless franchise.
