I have a very hard time believing Tatum is at the top of league in jersey sales & All-Star voting every year simply because of 30+ year old Celtic fans support. Hell Paul Pierce didn’t have it like that

On that Netflix series, Jayson’s pops said he needs to get a mean streak. Jayson is just too nice. I know he has technicals and maybe even an ejection or two, but I’ve never really seen him argue with a ref. He usually gets T’d up for waving off a ref of throwing a ball off to the side and not to the ref. He’s the type where if someone talked shyt to him, he would just laugh and probably still kill, but not go out of his way to demoralize his opponent.

Tatum argues with the refs every game, that might be the most consistent thing about him

As far as talking shyt and tussling with other players he usually won’t do it unless they initiate with him. Even the games where he’s cooking he’ll hype up the crowd but not really talking to the other team

tatum is definitely the next face of the league if you look if you look at the numbers that has been posted (jersey sales, all star voting and look at his instagram followers).

it doesn't seem like it because he doesn't have the poster dunks like ant or ja or stupid 3 point shots like lamelo but he's above them in terms of popularity and talent. he just needs better marketing and maybe be more active on social media to solidify himself as the one.

He's 3rd He's actually ahead of Brunson in jersey sales... I would have to see what sneaker sales look like I'm not gonna come at you with anecdotal evidence that means very little.

Ant also needs some deep playoff runs and I love Ant so I hope he gets there. See, both Iverson and Marbury were hugely popular. The reason why AI ended up being significantly more popular than Marbury is in part because of team success. People saw Iverson play the Lakers and play well on that stage.
