Yall not paying attention or what? Nipsey's been getting exposure since the Summer. Two songs with Ross, one song on DJ Drama CD with Jadakiss and them nikkas. He got a new joint coming out before Christmas. He's gettin out there man don't sleep.

1. Dissing Dr. Dre - "High till I die so it's mother fukk a Detox..." Very Bad move indeed, career suicide especially being from the west.
2. Losing Big U - Heard it was over bringing YG into 60's turf for that "bytches aint shyt" video shoot... that was a no-no like Big Fase bringing Spider Loc thru and getting himself laid out.
3. Emergence of Kendrick/TDE - After Dre, Snoop, Game etc. "passed the torch" to K. Dot at that concert, that was like the final nail in the coffin for nip.
Damn shame.

Think it prolly mostly boils down to him being perceived as more your typical 90s style west coast gangsta rapper and that not being what's popping at the moment...the same way dudes like glass malone and jay rock never really did what they were expected to at one time...the "new west" movement took a lil bit a different approach...kendrick ended up putting tde on where jay rock had failed to do previously.despite getting a major look first ....tyga and yg had that new west coast party music sound (don't know if.it's a name for it) and blew off that...nipsey didn't really fit into any of those lanes....
