That title wasn’t even used with X. Jay was projected to take the throne with Vol. 1, but once that [commercially] disappointed it got setback to Vol. 2 to where it was no conversation about who was running the city.
Nas was in that convo more so than X (“If David could go against Goliath with a stone. I could go at Nas and Jigga both for the throne” - 50 Cent, High All the Time off of GRODT).
