so how far behind do you rank logan behind that? is it a large gap ?

whats your GOAT super hero movie? And if its something different, is it very much higher than logan ?

OG X-Men 2
And Days of Future Past

are light years better than Logan.

As far as the "Logan" arguments....

I seriously doubt they can top that but they won't even try. And I don't think he'll stay in the MCU long term, so it's a moot point.

They already brought back Maguire and Garfield, Professor X seems to be in that new Dr. Strange trailer....if Hugh Jackman as Wolverine pops up for a few scenes in one movie it would be cool.

And "it would be cool" is enough for me. :yeshrug:

Nah, I say let Hugh Jackman retire. Logan was the perfect sendoff for the character.

They should be able to find some younger up-and-coming actor to play MCU Wolverine. I guess a cameo would be acceptable but I don't really want him as Wovlerine long-term.

Bringing him back now is equivalent to bringing back Tony Stark after Endgame.

Hugh Jackman killed the role, but it's time for someone new. We need a short, ugly, hairy cat to play Wolverine like he was in the OG comics.

And we can't talk about top 5/top 10 comicbook movies without bringing up the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Say what you want about the sequels, but the original still holds up to this day.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think there’s been a truly GREAT X-men movie yet. None of the movies are better than the 90s cartoon or the Cockrum/Byrne/Paul Smith/Romita Jr runs with Claremont in the OG comics.

My brain recognizes Logan as an excellent movie intellectually, but I have a hard time truly rocking with the X-men movies in general just because so many of them are just “Wolverine and Friends”. The MCU X-men needs to put some respect on the whole team instead of putting ALL of their eggs in the Wolverine basket like the Fox movies did. (And don’t get me started on their lame attempts to push Mystique.)

We need some OG comic book fans at the helm so we can start seeing more comic accurate storytelling, actual costumes, and a more balanced, ensemble driven dynamic.

it's already a foregone conclusion, but i'm good with them not even bringin in mutants to the MCU. :francis: I could see this shyt being the downfall of the MCU. Like what's the plan once they come in?

So you're cool settling with the dinner of appetizers you've had so far and don't want the main course? Spiderman and X-Men are the marvel main event :manny: always have been.

Regarding the plan, they're seemingly presenting a multiversal illuminati or counsel which Fox's Professor X is on, in the next Dr. Strange movie. So, essentially Fox's entire Xmen run and related movies are just in a different universe and the effecnts of Loki, Wandavision, and Spiderman NWH have broken those walls completely.

Here I thought we were having a legit conversation. The og x men trilogy did not age well at all. Have you tried watching this movie lately? Its pretty horrible.

days of future past top tier as well though.
X-men is legitimately not that good, and X2 is good but at this point overrated. X3 and Dark Phoenix are absolutely unwatchable.

Logan, First class, and DOFP are the redeemable movies over there...with Logan being a clear best of the pack
