I agree that we have to improve ourselves but unless we go at racists whites at the same time we will never get anywhere.

When was the last time racist white people massacred blacks on such a scale. You're comparing a time period when lynching was practically legal to 2015. Police brutality is a related but not the same thing as outright genocide. Systematic racism is more efficient and far more detrimental to the black community as a whole

Individual racists form the lesser part of all our problems except in judicial and political settings. Prison industrial complex, war on drugs, war against the poor and middle class, housing and economic discrimination, police brutality, these are all systems not individuals. Majority of whites are racist in the sense that they refuse to give up or acknowledge their privilege or past transgressions.

My life is hella better for it and I have no animosity in me, because as the good book says, if your right hand offends you, cut it off.

I like to consider myself a new Black. But I don't feel movements are the way to go. Protest and petitions do not work. Separation and avoidance works best. CAC's need...CRAVE attention, like a drug. You can be civil at work, but never invite them in your private affairs. Don't let them know what you do for a living, Don't patronize their places of entertainment/ business when possible. Effectively cut them off from any amusement they can have by being in your company and any funds they could get with your hard earned (though severely depreciated dollar).

When that black kid was arrested getting a belt with a debit card at Barney's, I cut up and canceled my Barney's credit card and told them why. I now mostly cook from home, and I take ALL of my vacations in Black and Brown and Yellow countries ONLY. I bought property in a majority Black area in the south (10 acres of pure heaven), and live in a great HEAVILY POC area (Black, Spanish, Asian and Indians). The only way to kill the beast is to starve it.
