Yeah the city has seen some tough times recently but all will be better when Kwame becomes mayor again...just joking. I love the D. I'm from Saginaw but going downtown and chillin there is always a good time. Now, if you really want to see some fukked up shyt go to Flint or Saginaw. I'm hoping that all the cities make a comeback one day. It would be nice to see. Especially for the people.

My first time to Flint was for a basketball game. After we left we were driving home (around midnight) and got stopped at a red light. This cop comes out of no where with the lights on and pulls right next to me and says "what the fukk are y'all doing here!? get out and go home now!"

So we leave and get stopped by another red light and this same cop comes u[ and says "you dumb motherfukkers don't listen! i said leave and don't stop!!!"

From then on I look at Flint like

Man you ain't fukkin lying. I played for Arthur Hill back when J-Rich was on the team and we had to go to Flint Northwestern for a game. We beat their ass but needed a police escort outta that bytch because somebody's momma was talking about shooting up the bus....THE MOMMA!!! Them nikkas were throwing rocks and shyt at the bus as we were leaving...oh and at half time we found out someone broke into our lockers and stole our damn warmups and coats......Flint is crazy. lol

I cannot get enough of my fascination with Detroit.It really is beautifully ugly. No hate, it can only improve from here. I got family in Michigan, even tho i don't really talk to them. I want to visit Detroit n see what its like firsthand. Only thing is, I value living, so i dono if i can go there f i don't have this dude as a personal escort

btw i recommend the doc "Detropia" for ppl who share my interests....dope documentary. My brehs from the D, educate me about your city! post pics, tell me where to go and more important where NOT to go. when is the best time of yr to visit??

If you visit Detroit either Memorial Day or Late summer. Majority of our festivals in the Metro are in August except the Tech fest which is Memorial Day weekend, you see some of the most insane shyt downtown at that time.

So summer basically, but stay out the neighborhoods after dark in the summer...it goes down. If its night time and you aint with a tour guide....
