Yea man, they were involved with classic TV comedies like this, Community and Arrested Development, then jumped to Marvel and directed 2 of the biggest movies ever.

It's like Bryan Cranston going from Malcolm in the Middle to Breaking Bad.

I've heard part of their appeal to the Marvel higher ups was that they were/are good at treating MCU like a "series" or TV show.

So everything they do has an eye to the next "episode" (or movie) with running storylines, jokes, emotional beats etc. without leaving anything hanging or unanswered for the most part.



Looks like it worked.
