This show and Flashforward (2009) were amazing shows that dumb ass ABC cancelled too quickly. Flashforward had the potential to be another LOST but those fools didn't give it more than one season. And obviously as everyone in this thread has pointed out Happy Endings had a chance to be the GOAT sitcom. Made no sense to cancel.

I watched the first two seasons on Hulu

First season was smart and some legit laugh out loud moments

The second season although funny you could tell the writers were running out of steam and the characters never evolved. They became stock characters so to speak.
Don't get me wrong season 2 is fun, but Season 1 is a better all around.
I'm going to start season 3 later on

Watch on hbo max or look up the production order to watch in. ABC fukked up the airing order just like they did with don't trust the b in apt 23, another great show they wrongfully cancelled smh

It's funny because I have this long list of shows on Netflix to watch, but whenever I'm bored, I can't be bothered to start a new show and have restarted watching Happy Endings. It helps that I haven't seen it completely in like +2 years so most of the jokes feel new again.

Strongly disagree.

I felt the opposite. Season one is when the writers were still trying to fit it into the "Friends but in Chicago" mold. Season two is when they finally let loose and be its own thing. Season two had some of the best dialogue and writing I've seen in a sitcom.

If you had said all that about season three, I'd agree. Season three was when they started making bizarre storyline choices that went on for too long.

I'm starting season 3 and you see the drop in quality
