Dead ass... I'm cool with white males... i get it... even broke ones with the "well, it will benefit me when I'm rich" delusion... but every other demographic?!!?!? perplexing... all these 24 year old white females on my facebook look so misinformed and sheep like its ridiculous...

Fixing the economy is to everyone's benefit...and some people have made the decision that they trust Romney more than Obama in that regard. Its not nearly as sensationalistic as you're trying to make it seem.

In that case, why do you automatically vote democrat?

i dont even get involved arguing with people anymore. some of the shyt i see on fb is so ignorant i just :facepalm: i STILL see people callin this dude a muslim and a secret terrorist, the shyt is baffling. its not even like i live in the south, i live in jersey.

The Republican party didn't always have their current rep. Lincoln was a republican and there was more support from blacks for republicans up until the New Deal. Eisenhower even had a respectable turnout from black republicans (Adam Clayton Powell JR included). Nelson Rockefeller tried to run for President, but was considered a liberal republican which was being phased out by his own party. Barry Goldwater laid the foundation for the neoconservatives which included opposing the civil rights act of 1964. At that point southern democrats, many also opposed to the civil rights act, started to shift towards Goldwater policies. The "Messiah" candidate Reagan was the blueprint for what we consider the republican party today. The interesting thing is, Goldwater said he never imagined the republicans becoming so radical. He actually was more supportive of gay rights and pro-choice.
