I might scoop them up if they went on a discount during black Friday and I do have a couple of best buy gift cards. Like OP said there are a lot of good headphones for less.

One thing is for sure. I salute Dr Dre and team for convincing you to buy that shyt.

Its one thing to enjoy music...but the headphones really are complete and utter crap for the price and quality you get.

beats by dre are wack for the price, that's common knowledge. I understand it though because they're good looking and comfortable. most other high end headphones look terrible

have ATH-M50 in my studio and have a pair of beyerdynamic dtx 501p that I use outside. they're really nice for the price, pretty cheap, bought em for roughly 50 bucks.

Word breh. What grown man sits around with headphones on all day anyway? I only use mine when I'm in the gym. We can argue price vs quality in tons of other products. I swear i never heard any of these new headphone nerds bytching about the next man's headphone choice before the good Doc dropped his shyt.

that's because before them, there were no widely marketed overpriced, cheaply build headphones on the market. you either had cheap ones, headphones designed for pro's, or headphones for hifi enthusiasts. the latter ones were overpriced too, but so expensive that only very few people actually bought them.
