If that's not what you into Bose, Sennheiser, and other brands are better. Also being alot of cats are listening to rap music esp on here they are pretty good for that.

probably designed for more analytical listening...that's my main problem with the really high end phones tho, they go for really accurate representations which don't always sound good unless you're amping/eqing the shyt outta em

Yeah..I think that's what they're for..I didnt buy em tho..my friend who has money gave em to me so I could use em for my ipad at work..he didnt want them anymore..

ANY celebrity brand outside of those custom In-Ear Monitors that cost like $8-900+ that musicians use on stage is NOT worth it.

Even for $300+, you should probably use an amp just to drive those sorts of things and you're not really getting a significant ROI just listening to your iphone/ipod/android
