Pants-on-head retarded post right here.

69 Boyz aren't rap. Craig Mack barely went gold. Salt & Pepa and Da Brat wasn't remotely "the biggest rappers" of 1994. Are you high out of your fukking mind right now? :what:

BIG came out in 1994. Outkast came out in 1994. Nas came out in 1994. Common Sense. Warren G. Method Man. Scarface. Digable Planets. RBL Posse. Twista.

That's off the top of my head.

So....what the fukk are you talking about? I get that some of you are tired of hearing old heads brag about the 90's but god damn man. Stop trying to rewrite history.

Fred.

And did this nikka mention corny ass Chance the Rapper? :mjlol:

Not that I'm flat out disagreeing with you, but wasn't there JUST a thread in here the other day with nikkas asking what went wrong with Nipsey's career?
Maybe you should read that thread:jbhmm:

This thread is unreal :mjlol:
There's a lot of backtracking :francis:
Every time someone posts a suspect pic from the 90's everyone looks past it :francis:
"B... b.. b.. but he's not a drugged out rapper tho" :russ:
Older guys are blatantly trolling in here nobody should take it seriously. You don't have to enjoy music today but don't be too one sided now :stopitslime:
And someone said something about 2010/2011 getting it right:russ:
The popular thing then was wearing real skinny jeans (not fitted jeans) and doing the jerk and dougie :russ:

Was it a woman's corset? He wore it over a white tee. With a bandana and some blue jeans. It was more an extension of the California Love video. Pac wasnt prancing around in women's clothing fam.
:mjlol:

Was it male g-string? Was it a male dress? Was it male leggings?

In this thread :coffee:
  1. Op says that most modern rappers are effeminate
  2. @CleinB posts a million examples of rappers that refute op's argument
  3. Everyone who agrees with op ignores @CleinB
  4. Everyone who agrees with op continues to dap each other up, and argue the fictitious point that op presented.

These people are not at the same level or influence as the people i named. Its not just about owning your masters or being on an "independent" label or being self made. its about being self made on a large scale. Dame Suge J Prince Irv was going to put their money together to form a distribution company. a fukking distribution company. thats the kind of bossing up im talking about. not little shyt like that Fetty Wap and Chance The Rapper shyt

the rap bosses in the 90s were way closer to getting on that level then any of these nikkas today are
Suge had a run for 4 year and has been on a endless streak of L's since "boss", Dame had a run when he was with Jigga, we haven't seen him since. That distribution thing was pure talk, there's 3 major distribution companies, anyone can start a minor one but no one will fukk with it cause people want their shyt everywhere and that takes resources, real resources. Not buy a white tee every day resources, which is why we only have 3 majors.

Personally I think this whole signing to another nikka that's signed to a couple other dudes era is over. Just seems like a bunch of extra middle men. Why sign to a Suge who is signed to Jimmy Iovine when you can sign directly to Iovine. Most dudes figured that out, so unless you can offer something crazy you'll have a hard time signing dudes who got something going on. You can still sign the lower level artists though that hasn't got much going for them.
