I tried to be cordial, but you decided to insult. I will put it like this, im not a simple movie watcher. I dont fall for the easy shyt.

And taht last scene was the most formulaic of formulaic. It felt like Spielberg was directing it a light movie.

Now if you dig formulaic and tame movies, then go for it. Just dont insult someone who disagrees with you and wants more. Who wants a movie that talks about the character instead of just the legend.

Who wants a movie that talks about the character instead of just the legend.

I went to see this today. Let me preface by saying I am a huge baseball fan, and a huge fan of the Jackie Robinson story, and I went in expecting to enjoy the movie.

Holy shyt what a terrible movie this was. The acting was awful. The over-dramatized music behind every. single. scene. The choppiness of each scene. I watched for about 20 minutes, until when the little kid in the stands was explaining a balk to his mom, and then I walked out, switched theaters and saw Oblivion, which was surprisingly good.

This movie felt more like something I would have been forced to watch in class in 5th grade than a blockbuster movie.

I actually saw this movie this weekend..... I guess since I went in with low expectations and hell in all honesty.... I didnt even know H. Ford was even starring in this movie. I thought it was really good.

There are some really deep scenes that got me.... like the scene when he 1st played Philly and the other GM going in on him..... that was a hard scene.

I have to respectfully disagree with everyone else that's hating on this movie.
