I remember there was a time when people were saying if Belichick was available half the league would fire their HC to get him

Tom Brady is once in lifetime type player. Dude worked his way to greatness. Bellicheck was a defensive guru for Giants during LT's heyday.Belli has maybe 1 at most 2 good seasons left. He will get Falcons or any team to playoffs but hes not winning Super Bowls.

A lot of teams movements right now are based on Beli's movements. Make no mistake about that.

Dallas said they were open to him and traumatized their coach right before a playoff game. Even though everything we know about Beli tells us he's not going to deal with Jerry Jones.

Raiders are dragging their feet on Pierce because they think they could get him even though everything we know about Beli tells us he's not going to deal with Mark Davis.

Titans know he's not replacing Vrabel so they just gotta keep pushing.

Seattle just got rid of an aging coach so they'd look stupid trying to get him.

Washington wants Ben Johnson to the point where it's his job to lose.

Chargers think they can get Harbaugh even though he's just using them to force more money out of Michigan.

Pretty much only leaves Atlanta but if you think teams haven't explored the possibility of getting Beli then you're crazy.
This is just a flashy way of saying he’s not as valued around the league as we thought

There is no Tom Brady without Belichek. He saw something in him and gave him a chance and put him in position to succeed. It ending badly, Brady going elsewhere and winning, and Beli being unable to re-create that with Mac Jones doesn't change that.
If he thought Brady could play he wouldn’t have drafted him in the 6th round and made Bledsoe the highest paid player in nfl history

You tweaking.

Brady is only Brady because he competed against that era's highest skilled afc qb of that time in Bledsoe. Where Brady was rhe Michigan killer qb thought of as lower in perception on the depth chart. When in reality Brady had rhe skill and talent capability to play up to Bledsoe and did.

Plus at the time beli needed a gateway offensive young mind to be a running mate. Who was not a hold over from the tuna like Bledsoe was. Plus beli needed a qb who had grit. Where Brady being from Michigan just had those intangibles and skill to play up and compete against Bledsoe.

If not for that particular variable. I do not see Brady becoming Brady.

With Bledsoe being Bledsoe at that time. Brady did what others who rode pine were incapable of doing. Which was beating out the so-called higher skilled pedigreed player at their height to be the preferred starter. Brady taking out Bledsoe is rhe moment that made Brady- Brady. Yet beli had ti be open to an offensive gateway player in that era. To beat the nfc. As the nfc had a defensive blowout based mantra and ideal in the superbowl. That beli solved and changed rhe entire shift of power in the nfl away from the nfc to the afc. Brady alone without beli is not capable of doing that. Beli is whom crafted rhe gameplan.
to keep the superbowl of all games low scoring enough.
for an afc team to win the superbowl. When before beli.
no afc had a prayer of winning a superbowl.

The Broncos went back to back and the Ravens were the defending champs. That's 3 of the previous 4 SBs. And the Steelers almost beat Dallas.

Dallas just won their division and we’re looking at him. Stop it :beli:

There’s probably 3 teams out there interested that aren’t going to compromise their coach now for a guy they probably can’t even meet with.

I have a chance to get the suppose best HC if all time and I stick with Mike McCarthy because he won a division when the other contender quit on their coach? :patrice:

The Bucs fired Tony Dungy and traded 1st round picks for Jon Gruden but we making excuses why no one wants Bill:dead:

What about Bill Belichick lets you believe that he would go to Dallas and deal with/coexist with Jerry Jones when his best friend and former coach Bill Parcells already went through it and it didn’t work? :beli:

Being interested to do something and being able to do something are two completely different things.

Bill wants a win now team that he can win a quick ring with. The cowboys fit that bill, among others. The eagles were just in the supebowl and quit on their coach, perfect for BB. But nah they riding with Nick. Lurie ain’t Jerry so no excuse there.

The problem is none of those teams want him, so he has to go to the Falcons. The chargers want Harbaugh, then Vrabel before Bill.

There was more interest in Sean Payton last year and you had to trade multiple draft picks to acquire them there is Bill in 2024. Think about that for a second

1. Why would he meet with the Falcons if he wants a win now team? He has 8 superbowl rings. He doesn’t need to even coach anymore? It’s not that the chargers don’t want him, he’s not a West Coast guy. He lives in South Florida.

2. The Eagles organization never implied that Siriannis job status was on the line. Eagles fans and people like you pushed that narrative and are running with it.

3. Sean Payton was sitting on interview couches selling himself and creating buzz for himself.
