while i agree with the millenium puzzle excerpt, fact still remains that kaiba ripped up yugis grandfathers blue eyes before dueling him, made arrangements and preconditions for certain matches to fall in his favor, spammed his classic priceless deck filled with the most rare cards,yugi cheats, straight up...fukk the millennium puzzle.

The dsod movie was a sequel to the manga. This man Kaiba quasi bypassed into the afterlife all for the sake of battling the Pharoah 1 last time
Real talk the English dub Kaiba had prime s*** talking. Supposedly he's not as ruthless to Joey in the natural Japanese but it's more of a cultural senior member vs amateur type respect type thing. It's incomprehensible how a guy like Joey does as well as he does. Bruh had the swaggest fit battle city the white vest trench

I feel like playing yugioh right now but don't feel compelled to learn again the mechanics after xyx.

Yeah, the dub made him way more of a dikkhead. After Yugi beat him in the Death-T duel, Yami Yugi pulled a mind crush on Kaiba to get rid of all of the evil in him, so when he snapped out of it he was still an arrogant fukk but without all of the malice. The whole shyt with him threatening to jump off the castle if Yugi beat him was cuz he was trying to get Yugi's star chips so he could duel Pegasus and rescue Mokuba, so he felt like if he couldn't do it, he'd have no reason to live. There actually is an anime based on the manga that was produced by Toei before Konami got control of the franchise and made it about the card game exclusively. Fans in the west usually refer to it as "Season Zero," though the Japanese version is just "YuGi-Oh" while the first Konami series is "YuGi-Oh: Duel Monsters" in Japan.I typed some of the stuff he said in Google to see if this wasn't some fabric.

Dartz in the abridged series is probably the best voice acting job I've ever heard in my life. Single-handedly turned Waking the Dragons into absolute fukkery
