Never forget he was the type of wrestler ECW fans used to whine about and the moment Sid touched down in ECW they were eating out of the palm of his hand
Absolutely true..I'm sure if he actually stayed for longer runs paul e would have put the belt on him

Not sure if I've got this right but I remember Sid 91-92 run he was power bombing anyone and everyone and people getting taken out on stretchers.

You're probably thinking of the lead-up to Sid vs Hogan at WM8. Here's the video:

I always loved this promo from Sid at WM8

"Shut up! I don't care! I don't give a damn about the memories of Hulk Hogan!"

Sid was the man. That Survivor Series entrance is one of the best entrances of all time and it's all aura. He was always fun wherever he showed up.

No pyro, no nothing. Just a casual stroll, daps and affirmation of who runs shyt. It's easy to see why he got title runs.

On look alone, he's the last person you want smoke with.

I've probably blended the 2 runs together.

Sid was the ref at SSlam 91 Main Event

That was his debut. He was in WCW a few months before that. But the stretcher gimmick was a WCW thing. Dude was mad over as soon as he set foot in a WWF ring

sid had a very distinct IT factor you can teach or develop..a roided out hillbilly who said wild shyt and had notable catchphrases..plus could be carried from watchable to great matches...the run where he got wwe belts were some of the best matches in that man's career

you see this reaction?

That was a GOAT entrance :wow:

Sid the GOAT big man in wrestling history IMO :unimpressed:

And HBK vs Sid for the WWF world title at SvS 96 is one of the GOAT matches
