Sid legit looked like someone you didnt want to mess with. They usually book the tall guys as monsters but Sid actually came across like an unhinged monster of a person. For example Big Show is huge but he doesnt give you that fear factor, Sid seemed like we would murder you.

I remember when he debuted with the Skyscrapers and he was a menacing monster hell. But he never should’ve got main event status. He was in the ring. on the mic. Didn’t seem to draw. But he was a 2 time WWF champ and got to work with prime HBK when there was plenty of better wrestlers on the roster.

Then he went back to WCW and won 2 more times. WCW was at a low point then, but again, they had better wrestlers.

He was always over and drew...much more credible than Shawn Michaels ever was.

WWE was a a low point when Sid was a two time champion. Vince likes big men and Sid had an intimidating presence. He was also a transitional champion so it's not like they put the company on his back.
